Welcome from the Head Teacher

At the heart of Streatham’s community for over two hundred years, St Leonard’s Church of England Primary school is an expanding school within the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education Multi-Academy Trust, which aims to nurture and inspire all its children in order to prepare them for an exciting and successful future in an ever changing world.

We aim to serve our community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. We encourage and nurture an understanding of the Gospel, promoting the Christian values of Faith, Hope and Love to all our pupils and their families.

Through innovative teaching and working together, we foster independence, respect for one another and a love of learning.

We have very high expectations of our staff, pupils and parents so that each child has the best chance to achieve within a mutually supportive community.

I hope you enjoy exploring this website; it contains lots of useful information, as well as opportunities to discover just some of the many things that help make our school the thriving learning community that it is.

Whilst group tours are not currently able to take place, we welcome visits to the school from prospective parents. Please telephone to make an appointment.

Kind regards,

Simon Jackson -  Head Teacher
