Faith In The Nexus

Researchers from Canterbury Christ Church University have been examining children's exploration of faith and spiritual life in the home. They invited our school to participate in their research. 

The research team looked at the following:

• What can we learn from children talking about their faith and spiritual life?
• The support children receive from family and others to explore this in the home.
• How families perceive church and school to contribute to the nurturing of a child's faith and spiritual life

Why this investigation matters:

We know that attention to children's spiritual health benefits their well-being and research suggests that the pandemic has affected this. The research team hopes to provide evidence to help adults understand and respond to the spiritual lives of children in our time.
